The Far East: Everything Just As It Is was a publishing, performance, and arts education project funded by a San Diego Foundation Creative Catalyst Award in 2012. After soliciting and workshopping true stories about San Diego’s much misunderstood East County by current and former residents, the project culminated in a limited-edition print anthology and performance series. I served as editor, contributor, and writing workshop facilitator. Below are some press excerpts the project earned.
